O objetivo do presente artigo é demonstrar como viviam e conviviam socialmente as mulheres na antiguidade, na Grécia, com a finalidade de analisar a construção da heroína no terceiro livro da série “Percy Jackson e os Olimpianos”, de Rick Riordan, visto que se percebe claramente que a mulher torna-se, também, heroína, carregando consigo os mesmos atributos que os heróis Clássicos, o que, antigamente, era mais raro. Daí depreendemos que as personagens femininas de Riordan no corpus estudado são tão capazes de serem heroínas quanto os homens são capazes de serem heróis, de forma a evidenciar a condição atual participativa e igualitária das mulheres na sociedade.

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how women lived socially in antiquity, in Greece, in order to analyze the construction of the heroin in the third book of the series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians”, by Rick iordan, seeing that the woman also becomes heroine, which that was unusual, carrying the same attributes as the Classic heroes. We concluded that in the studied corpus the female characters of Riordan are so capable of being heroines as men are capable of being heroes, in order to highlight the participatory and egalitarian current condition of women in society.
